Highgate is one of north London’s most established residential neighbourhoods. The N6 mix runs from family flats descending Highgate Hill towards Archway, through the Victorian and Edwardian terraces around Highgate Wood, and out to Hornsey Lane. We hang gallery walls up stairwells, single pieces over family-room mantels, and full residential rollouts for families moving in. Highgate Village, at the top of the Hill, is the area’s historic heart. Holly Lodge Estate, off Highgate West Hill, is the area’s distinctive Edwardian mock-Tudor gated estate — a self-contained residential community with conservation status. Highgate’s long literary and intellectual heritage (Coleridge lived here, Highgate School has shaped generations) gives the area its established-collector residential layer.
