The classic Fulham home is a Victorian terraced house with bay window, rear garden and original cornicing — there are thousands of them across the SW6 grid from the New King’s Road north to the Lillie Road border. New King’s Road is one of London’s quietly significant interior designer streets, with studios and showrooms running from Eel Brook Common through to the World’s End border. Imperial Wharf and the Chelsea Harbour border have added modern apartment buildings to the SW6 mix, mostly metal-stud plasterboard. Yes. The Edwardian mansion blocks around Munster Village have solid masonry behind the plaster skim, which holds proper fixings well once you’re past the soft outer layer. For oversized pieces or heavy mirrors, two-person lifts and specialist fixings as standard.
Yes. The New King’s Road interior designer cluster is part of our regular schedule. We hang to design briefs, work to project completion deadlines, and integrate with builders, framers and shippers when properties are fitting out.
