We’re a London-based team of 14 gallery-trained installers and curators, rated five stars on Google and featured on BBC DIY SOS. From a single canvas above the sofa in a Battersea Rise terrace to a 30-piece whole-home install for new movers in the Power Station development, we bring the same meticulous approach to every job.

Picture Hanging Battersea

Working in Battersea's Victorian terraces, new-build apartments and Park-side homes

Battersea is one of London’s most dynamic residential markets. The classic Battersea home is a Victorian terraced house. There are thousands of them across the SW11 grid from Battersea Rise to Lavender Hill and the streets running off Queenstown Road. We hang gallery walls up stairwells, single pieces over family-room mantels, and full residential rollouts for families moving in. A single piece in one room is just as welcome as a full house install.

Battersea Power Station and the Nine Elms development have added thousands of new apartments to the SW11 mix over the past decade. We do a lot of new-build move-in work here — owners arriving with boxes of art and mirrors who want every piece up before they unpack the kitchen. Most new-build walls are metal-stud plasterboard, often with very tall feature walls and double-height ceilings. We bring Gripit and Toggler fixings sized to the weight, plus the right ladders.

Prince of Wales Drive and Albert Bridge Road hold Park-side mansion blocks — Edwardian red brick with solid masonry behind the plaster. Battersea Square, the area’s quietly Georgian village heart, and the surrounding streets add an older residential layer most non-locals don’t realise exists. We’ll always confirm the wall type before drilling, whatever the property.

Yes. A lot of our Battersea work is one piece in one room. Photo-First quote system means you’ll know the price before we arrive, so there’s no minimum-spend surprise.

Yes. Battersea’s Victorian terraces are the backbone of our SW11 work. We use longer fixings and the correct masonry bit at low speed to avoid cracking original lath and plaster. Original picture rails are sometimes still in place, and we’ll hang from them where they’re sound.

Yes. Power Station and Nine Elms new-build move-ins are a regular part of our Battersea schedule. We bring out your boxes of art and mirrors and get every piece up in one visit. Most new-build walls are metal-stud plasterboard, so we use Gripit and Toggler fixings rated to the weight, and we carry the ladders for double-height ceilings.

Yes. The Edwardian mansion blocks along Prince of Wales Drive and Albert Bridge Road have solid masonry behind the plaster skim, which holds proper fixings well once you’re past the soft outer layer. For oversized pieces or heavy mirrors, two-person lifts and specialist fixings as standard.

Yes. Public liability up to £5m. Certificate available upon request. Further insurance available for higher-value items.

We price by time for smaller jobs, and by day-rate for larger installations. Written quote available before any work starts. No surprise charges. Drop us a photo and we’ll be happy to help.
